Mark Raines serves as Chief Executive Officer of CJRW, where he leads the agency’s vision, culture and client services efforts. He joined the firm in May 2014 and spent 11 years as Senior VP for Client Services & Public Relations, helping grow and strengthen CJRW’s client services and PR teams before stepping into the CEO role.

Mark brings decades of experience guiding organizations through complex communications, media relations and management challenges. Prior to joining CJRW, he spent seven years in the oil and gas industry as Director of External Affairs and Government Relations for Chesapeake Energy and later BHP Petroleum. He also enjoyed a 25-year career in broadcast journalism, working in both radio and television, including serving as news director for KTHV Channel 11, the CBS affiliate in Little Rock, as well as a reporter and producer for Little Rock’s NBC affiliate.

His favorite place in Arkansas is Petit Jean State Park, since there are so many walking and hiking options along with beautiful waterfalls. When he's not working, you can find him on the golf course.
