Lisa Stine joined CJRW as a digital copywriter in 2021 after an eleven-year career in education. In the classroom, she was a Certified Journalism Educator through the Journalism Education Association and advised state and national award-winning high school student publications programs. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in Honors Interdisciplinary Studies, and she earned a master’s degree in Professional & Technical Writing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2017. She is a meticulous speller, grammarian and user of AP Style, and she loves nothing more than a clever pun or turn of phrase. She feels more confident and at home as a writer than in any other discipline and enjoys helping CJRW’s clients tell the stories of their brands in creative, engaging ways.
At home, Lisa is probably embracing her inner nerd by reading fantasy novels and playing video games or Dungeons & Dragons. She also loves trying new recipes from the New York Times Cooking app, planning her next trip to somewhere new and spending quality time with her husband, Zach, their daughter, Cora, and their two cats, Sam and Lola.
