CJRW wins coveted Hermes Platinum Awards for Tourism and Lottery branding campaigns

LITTLE ROCK, AR (June 28, 2021) – CJRW, a Little Rock-based marketing and communications firm, recently received two Hermes Platinum Awards for television ad campaigns for the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery and Arkansas Tourism.

The Lottery branding campaign promoted the “This is Winning” theme featuring a tour across Arkansas with real Lottery winners, the Lottery’s fictional spokesperson, Wynn More, and the “This is Winning” wrapped vehicle.

For Arkansas Tourism, CJRW won for the 2020 annual spring/summer brand marketing campaign which was designed to raise awareness about and drive travel to Arkansas. The campaign leveraged targeted digital and mass media to effectively position Arkansas as a safe place to visit during the pandemic with a focus on outdoor activities, fresh air and abundant natural beauty.

The Hermes Creative Awards evaluates the creative industry’s best video publications, branding collateral and websites used in advertising, marketing and communications for clients.

In addition to the Platinum honors, CJRW also won four Hermes Gold Awards for the design and publication of the 2021 Arkansas Travel Guide, which the agency has produced every year since 1967; print media photography for Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort; and for the development of integrated marketing materials for the Lottery.

“To be recognized by the Hermes Creative Awards is a great honor for our creative team and the entire agency,” said Wade McCune, CJRW Senior Vice President and Creative Director. “Any time your work is awarded against national and international competition is special, and to win multiple awards for a range of clients is even better.”

The Hermes Award is sponsored by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals and is one of the oldest and largest creative competitions in the world.
