CJRW is seeking a Travel & Tourism Account Executive for the Northwest Arkansas region of the state. This position will be responsible for providing marketing support and selling co-op advertising in various print, digital and broadcast products to an existing client list, as well as prospecting new business. Expectations include meeting revenue goals and providing account management to clients in the tourism industry. Daily contact with clients is an essential part of the job and, as such, managing multiple client projects in a timely manner. The ideal candidate must currently reside in Northwest Arkansas and commit a minimum of 60% of their time in client meetings/community events within this region. This position is primarily remote apart from in-person attendance to monthly team meetings in Little Rock.
Responsibilities:
- Reach and exceed goals for print, digital and broadcast co-op products
- Build client relationships
- Write, present and implement marketing proposals
- Travel to in-state territory with overnight travel as needed
- Collaborate with other agency departments on behalf of the client
- Attend client meetings and take-action on requested deliverables
- Help clients create effective ads
- Identify leads for new business
- Account management
Job Specifications/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of advertising sales or equivalent marketing experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce or comparable CRM platform
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and goals
- College degree required or equivalent experience. Preferably a bachelor’s degree in communications/marketing.
- Ability to travel in-state overnight as needed

- Strong communication (written, verbal, presentation) skills
- Confident and competent attitude
- Excellent computer skills are required
