As social media manager, no matter the client – you’re the owner of their brand’s social media experience. In addition to day-to-day account management, you bring a spirit of curiosity and enthusiasm for all things social. From researching new technologies to staying up to date on social trends, the social media manager needs to be strategic-minded and focused on ensuring our clients are making the best and most creative use of their social channels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and deliverables for client social media products, including but not limited to paid campaigns, organic plans, influencers and brand activations
  • Become an expert in client’s business and immersed in their account history and objectives to lead brands forward in the digital and social spaces
  • Work with social media content director, social media art director and digital media manager to develop campaign strategies and briefs
  • Provide strategic evaluation of all social media work 
  • Collaborate with the digital and creative teams to implement a cohesive multichannel brand strategy
  • Work with client account managers to align social media goals with overall campaign and client goals
  • Track team time and spending against campaign and client budgets to keep campaign development within approved budget parameters
  • Analyze data provided by social media reporting tools to provide actionable insights for future plans and strategies
  • Monitor global social media channel trends to inform campaign strategy and creative and content placements
  • Maintain research and reports on local and regional online conversations relevant to clients
  • This role reports to the Social Media Director

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, social media, public relations, advertising or other

related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a strategic social role or digital account services
  • Must have a passion for social media and willingness to test new trends, strategies and platforms
  • Must have a thirst for knowledge and the ability to use good judgment, seek out news and foresee trends
  • Copywriting and copyediting skills a plus
  • Experience with data analysis a plus
  • Experience managing social media presence for clients a plus
