Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Manager to oversee our technology infrastructure, support employee IT needs, and ensure smooth operations across our agency. This role manages computers, email systems, creative software, servers, copiers, and building-related technology and oversees cybersecurity measures and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting creative teams, troubleshooting industry-specific software, and optimizing technology workflows for efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Set up and secure computers with necessary software and protection.
- Set up and deactivate employee accounts and accesses including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) with Microsoft Authenticator.
- Perform software updates, and system maintenance, and manage email accounts.
- Provide IT training and cybersecurity guidance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day computer issues.
- Diagnose and repair non-responsive Mac and PC laptops.
- Maintain and update creative software (Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, etc.).
- Maintain servers, storage solutions, and cloud-based systems.
- Oversee copier/printer management, vendor contracts, and supply needs.
- Approve IT related invoices and manage vendor relationships.
- Manage file storage and backup solutions tailored for large media files.
- Manage AV equipment, phone, Wi-Fi, and security systems.
- Recommend and facilitate technology purchases that support creative and business operations.
- Ensure IT security, data protection, and compliance best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of IT management experience, including Mac and PC environments.
- Hands-on experience with MFA management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Adobe software, Malwarebytes, CrashPlan, FontAgent, TeamViewer, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with IT infrastructure, servers, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with Xerox/XMC copier and printer systems is a plus.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills for IT challenges.
- A proactive and service-minded approach to IT support.
- Ability to balance multiple requests and projects efficiently.
- Leadership and initiative to anticipate IT needs and drive improvements.
- Attention to detail for data security, troubleshooting, and IT operations.
- Commitment to staying abreast of IT trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance agency efficiency and security.
