Position Title: Account Project Manager
Reports To: SVP, Director of Client Services & Public Relations
Summary:
The Account Project Manager will be responsible for key client and account project management within the Client Services division. Expectations include developing and managing multiple client projects with efficiency, clear communication, collaboration and a keen attention to detail. This person will report to the SVP, Director of Client Services & Public Relations and work collaboratively, building relationships across the entire agency to drive successful client projects.
Responsibilities:
· Provide proactive leadership for assigned client projects.
· Engage with agency Account Managers to understand project plans, timelines, budgets and required agency services.
· Collaborate with other agency Project Managers to foster open communication, ensure project alignment and provide support.
· Work in partnership with agency departments to successfully complete the goals and objectives of projects and/or marketing and public relations plans.
· Execute tasks associated with marketing plans.
· Provide project management for assigned events, including logistics, set up and execution.
· Attend client meetings and take action on requested deliverables.
· Provide necessary reporting and updates to clients.
· Help identify potential workflow efficiencies within the Client Services team and across departments.
· Anticipate issues, communicate effectively, escalate concerns and make informed recommendations with a solutions-oriented mindset.
Job Specifications/Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising or marketing is preferred.
· 3+ years of project management experience. Preferably within an advertising agency or relevant marketing/public relations business.
· Well-versed in project management and communication tools such as Monday.com, Microsoft 365 suite, and Google documents.
· Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain obstacles to team members and the confidence to say “yes” or “no” to requests with adequate reason.
· Ability and desire to work as part of a team, both within and across departments.
· Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously across a variety of media (print, digital, video and social).
· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
